i heart macro

This is from last December, when we actually had frost on the leaves in the backyard. I am kind of missing frost right now.

What a contrast of the cycle of life..the fall colors have so many hues. The frost of the edges...wouldn't you love to get a really close up?? I really like this!

I love how the frost outlines the edges of everything and how muted the colors are in the winter! I don't miss it yet though! It was a long winter for me! :)

I love the frostiness! It's been hot here but I don't miss the cold!

I agree such a great contrast there - the ice crystals make it even more delicate!

Most people would overlook this subject matter, but it is so beautiful texturally and represents the cycle of life, Well done!!!

I love the combination of muted colors and soft frost in this image, and the detail is just exquisite. I don't long for frost (I hate winter!) but would give just about anything for even a touch of dew...
