BSBP reveal date!

Welcome to the 3rd Bead Soup Blog Party!
What is a Bead Soup Blog Party?

Each beader was paired up with another jewelry designer and tasked with sending the following:

~ A focal
~ A special clasp (not just a lobster claw)
Some coordinating spacers or beads

Using the focal and the clasp was mandatory, but we could use anything from our own stash to round out the rest, and choose to use the coordinating beads or not.
Here's what I made!

Thank you to Anitra for sending me this lovely focal and clasp! She also sent me a yellow butterfly, as well as a dragonfly brad, to use as part of the group. I off set the group, so the clasp could be seen as part of the necklace. All the pretty beads are on the right of the necklace.

She also sent me this faint green cube like beads that I really liked. I didn't get to use them in the required piece, but I did have some green jewelry wire that I thought would work perfectly for something else I've been wanting to make.

I also built upon the butterfly theme and used some butterfly beads I had already in my stash.

Here's the full view of the *other* necklace. Not bad for my first try with 'braiding' beads. I haven't done that before. I thought of how I would braid my hair to get the idea for how to do this project. It turned out pretty good if I do say so myself!

Go check out what everyone else made!
